Nearly all brands of hot water pressure washers use safety relief valves to protect both damage and injuries that can be caused by high pressure and high temperature water. One of those safety mechanisms is our pressure relief valves.
These relief valves are typically plumbed to the coil outlet and will open upon sensing high pressure build up from inside the pressure washer coil. This build up can commonly be caused by a burner that has failed to turn off, an unloader that has not shifted into bypass, or several other issues. Our pressure relief valves are available in a variety of pressure ratings (PSI) as well as thread size.
If you are uncertain which pressure relief valve is correct for your power washer, please give us a call! We’re always happy to help!
